Title: Kinloss Joint Warrior

Hi Guys just returned form a rather poorly timed visit to Northern Scotland, as with the rest of the UK flying was stopped after Wednesday, so we got one day out of three, well it didn't rain and we where on the ferry so we got home.
Few snaps of some of the players and support aircraft, all tucked up and not flying wile we where at Kinloss was 3 French Atlantics and a Canadian CP-140.

Any idea what the Falcon's carrying under the wings?

They look like missiles.

They are threat simulation and jamming pods for electronic warfare training.

Great shots Paul. A shame about the grounding of most flights. At least you got a days worth of shots so not a complete waste heading over there.

I take it the rest of the excercise has been scrubbed?
 
You did well to get the shots you got-especially like the P-3 photos. :)
 
Good job it wasn`t a wasted journey and you managed to get home.
