Could possibly be linked to this: NW 200 spectator injured in cliff fall (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/8684797.stm)

No it wasn't used they used the piloce helicopter to airlift him to hospital as it was nearby.
-
That would be a RN Seaking from RNAS Gannet I expect.
-
The PSNI chopper apparently did some monitoring/evidence gathering, but it was definitely R177 came in to do the casevac.
Don't know if anybody heard of the circumstances!! A sensible individual decided to take p*ss off the edge of the cliff and needless to say his "spatial awareness" capabilities were a little bit out of sync and apparently he did a nose dive.
-
But why did he take his shoes off first ?
-
So he didn't pee on them by mistake...... ;D
Seriously though - the times i've witnessed young children running around, peering over the cliff edge at Portrush while some parents sat smoking and/or chatting on mobile phones oblivious to the danger.Accidents happen, but some happen needlessly.

Diff a Prestwick Seaking picture of it getting the patient loaded on at Portrush in the News Letter on Monday.
