Title: Firefighting AW139
Post by: Hammerhead on June 14, 2010, 07:27:25 PM
During the recent tour of Casement it was mentioned that the Air Corps had received a Bambi bucket for fighting fires

Today was the first time I have seen it being used, They flew over on the way to do some practice drops up the Wicklow mountains.....

Excuse the pic as it was still fairly overcast when they passed....

Nice catch. Hopefully they'll never have to use it.

The Bambi bucket was out again this morning...  It was almost dark when it flew over my work but I couldn't resist trying out the new camera... ;D
