Title: ID of aircraft?
Post by: Steve7 on December 14, 2010, 10:28:17 PM
Any ideas on this one? Found it amongst a few 35mm slides....taken at Aldergrove, around 1983 I think!

Its Lockheed L1011 Tristar G-BAAB of Court Line (they only had two L1011s and G-BAAA was yellow).

It must have been taken in 1973 or '74 as the airline went bust in August '74.

Pretty cool catch. also seems to be one of Courtline's yellow BAC 111's in the foreground. How times have changed in the aviation world!  :(
