Title: RAF Aldergrove Families day
Post by: Chris G on April 16, 2007, 09:48:15 PM
Not a public event but quite a few rare gems for you guys to get stuck into. Expected are German Tornadoes, Dutch F-16s, Belgian F-16's an E-3 Sentry with more to be added. I suppose you will want to know when its happening? May 26th!

Thanks Chris. Did know it was on but didn't know what was to appear. And of all days I have a wedding to go to :( Wonder if I'd be missed?

Wonder if they've asked for a Merlin for the static display  ;D

Chris I'm just wondering how much you know about family days? The participating aircraft, would they fly in on the morning or the day before? Found a lovely spot at the end of the runway and would get some cracking shots of them landing.

There wont be a RAF families day there as it's no longer an RAF base. It is now a Joint Helicopter Flying Station and I'm not sure if they hold families days. Would be nice if they did.
