Has Dublin taken over from Shannon as a staging airport for the USAF? I'm sure that Bulldog pilot felt very, very small as he taxied in :)

There are still daily flights into Dublin mainly because the four chinooks are still here, one suffered a blade strike before Obama arrived and another was slightly damaged by debris from the blade,  They are due to depart on Monday (weather permitting)
The Bulldog was in for the Aer lingus 75th party and arrived early so had to use runway 28 as the old runway 29 had not opened yet...

Look we made the news  :LOL
Four helicopters, believed to be those used for the Obama visit, were   filmed by aircraft spotters several days before his arrival as they   landed in close formation at Dublin airport.

Cheers, that's a pretty handy site. Is there any other decent sites/forums for Dublin Airport? I'm aiming for a day visit on Friday if the weather remains good.  8)
