Very nice Don, so what are your opinions on the lens? What was it, a Sigma 150-500mm OS?

Thanks Guys.... Yes Dave its a Sigma 150-500mm OS and I'm still trying to get to grips with it, firstly its a heavy beast to hold but I'm slowly getting used to it.... Hopefully I will get plenty of more practice on Saturday.... ;)

Great pics Don,as you know I have the same lens-it is heavy, and you know about it when you`ve been out all day using it,but it`s a great piece of kit. :D

I don't know if it's any help however I use a shoulder sling strap (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Anti-slip-Neoprene-Quick-Sling-Shoulder-Belt-Strap-for-DLSR-Camera-Canon-Nikon-/400441813292?pt=UK_Photography_Straps_Hand_Grips&hash=item5d3c31292c) with my Sigma lens(3kg!) and the fitting just screws into the tripod foot. It makes heavier lenses easier to carry for longer lengths of time, and it also saves you neck.
