Spotting at Dublin 22/3/2014
« on: March 26, 2014, 02:40:06 PM »
I decided to take a run down to Dublin at the weekend for that Canadian expo at the RDS and decided to take the camera but as usual the weather didn't play ball.  Between heavy rain and hail it was cold (but worth it).

Even during dark cloud these colours look well!

And I thought counting Easyjets at Aldergrove was boring!

Pity Aldergrove doesn't have a hill overlooking the runway!

This is the second time I have seen EI-DAA, the last time was at Flightfest with the large Aer Lingus under the belly

Can anyone provide any details of this aircraft?  I arrived just as she touched-down.

I had to stay to catch this departure!

I decided to wait during a heavy hail storm to catch this one depart.

The heavy hail during the A300 was pelting down, so I braved it to try my best to capture it.  I never really edited the picture only to sharpen it.

Nice pics, can be very slippery and hard to get up and down those grass banks-you also have the hazard of double decker buses that be a bit annoying,as they tend to zip past and ruin a shot.

At the other hill I must admit I did slip a few times..  Time to get something perminantly built there I think, it was really busy when I was there

I don't know what it is but I listened to The Corrs-dreams when looking at the Aer Lingus aircraft and it got me all giddy, try it
