Terrible accident :o Looks like it could be weather related,windshear looks a distinct possibility.

The way the aircraft initially hits very hard then bounces back up would suggest windshear to me.

Windshear is a major cause of accidents,especially at the landing stage.Basically it can create an invisible horizontal vortex that virtually slams down on top of a landing aircraft and pushes it into the ground.

BHD and Newtownards are affected by it on a regular basis,it can be caused by higher ground around an airfield.It`s almost impossible to predict and isn`t fully understood.
