EGAC - 28-5-09

I'm hoping to nip down to the airport this evening and assuming they remain landing on runway 22, we're hoping to do a bit of spotting along Airport Road West. I contacted the Harbour Police and they were fine with it and were pleased we got in touch before hand.

There is due to be 16 arrivals between 7.40 and 9.30 so hopefully I'll get a few pics. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Awesome evening with a great sunset. Even had a few friends with me so what more can an aircraft lvoer want, except maybe the presence of a chippy caravan :D

The new camera is great, got used to it slowly. Have even decided to venture up to EGAA tomorrow morning, and by the time anyone reads this, I'll have been to and gone to BFS  :LOL

The police stopped by, and it was the same guys from last time, we're lucky to have such friendly chaps patrolling at BHD! They just wanted to check if we had seen any laser activity as there had been several complaints from pilots  >:(

On to the spotting now; Saw 2 new Ryanair aircraft, one only 20 days old since delivery. I think we saw 13 to 14 aircraft in the space of only 1 hour and a half, with another 3 being delayed, so it should've been 16!

Thanks! I couldn't figure out to adjust the exposure compensation despite having read the manual so i was happy with the results.   ;D
