UK Joins countries grounding 737MAX

The UK's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has banned the Boeing 737 MAX from operating in or over UK airspace "as a precautionary measure".

The decision comes after an Ethiopian Airlines plane crashed on Sunday, killing 157 people on board. It was the second fatal accident involving the 737 Max 8 model in less than five months.

IAA have now followed the CAA and banned the 737 MAX from Irish airspace.

IMHO I think a worldwide ban should have come into force as soon as possible-that is the safest way to do these things.
The Americans are burying their heads in the sand to some extent,but clearly something is not right with the aircraft,and they need to be grounded to find out what the problem/s are before more lives are lost.

Trump/USA has announced all 737MAX will be grounded in US Airspace upon landing. The grounding will stay in effect until Boeing comes up with solution.
