Always had a photo of this 747, but only recently came across the actual video of the aircraft landing.

you could call that a beach landing

. not the same as normandy though

what a pic. must be great when you r on the beach having abit of a sleep, and then the next minute a 747 come whizzing over your head. Certainly a brown trouser moment

That looks like a road between the beach and the runway. Wonder if they have ever had problems with high sided vehicles? Wouldn't like to be sitting on the top row of a double decker bus
