Like it or not,the Red Arrows are the big draw as far as the 'general public' are concerned.Ever witnessed the mass exodus on a Saturday at Portrush after the Reds had opened the show?Well i have,and more than once.
From an aircraft enthusiasts point of view,yes it is disappointing - but the organisers of these shows rely on more than just enthusiasts turning up to generate revenue.
Not knocking the other acts - but unfortunately 'joe bloggs' usually isn't interested.
