Dublin Visitor Sunday 18th
« on: March 16, 2012, 04:44:23 PM »
If anyone is around Dublin on the 18th you could catch a USAF C-5, it's arriving from Germany for a few hours...
No arrival time yet but I'll try and get it asap....

The 18th is a Sunday :P No excuses now! I'd love to go down, however the Australian F1 race takes priority unfortunately.

Lucky sod! I'm jealous, resorting to Sky Sports was the very last thing I wanted. lol I remember back during 2000 when holidaying in Donegal, we were able to watch F1 on either RTE 1 or a similar channel, when did they stop showing it on those channels?

Hi Paul, No ETD yet just word that it's due to depart after a couple of hours on the ground....
The latest info is that it might even have to use Shannon instead of Dublin if the takeoff weight is too much for DUB's runway length... ::)

Funny I was thinking it might use Shannon instead;I would be rather peeved if I drove down to see it and it went elsewhere.
I think I will have my Sunday lie in after all.
