Dear Casper,
                   I note that the site has failed to change to Winter timing, is it a setting you must adjust or should it occur automaticaly,
if it should if did't.

Thanks Pat, it's not set to automatically change and his catches me out every time. I'm out at the minute but will get it corrected when I get home later this evening.

Given what we do, why not keep it on zulu/utc/gmt all the time?

Because the vast majority of us in this group do not work in the aviation industry, and in particular in flight ops or planning, and thus work off the local times as applicable - i.e. UTC/GMT during Oct - Mar and UTC+1 or BST from Mar - Oct. 

If something is reported on the site as due at 13:00 I'd expect to see it at 1pm local - simples ...

That's fair enough, but most logging software ( and indeed FR24 ) display in UTC so we have to translate to local time first :)
