DUB-MAD-FRA-DUB
« on: May 06, 2015, 08:31:46 PM »
Always wanted to try a DAY trip like this(I know there is wiser out there),part of the "fun" was  getting everything to fall into place, the other and more important "fun" was to fly in a 787.I knew that LAN flew their 787 from MAD to FRA so it was a case of using FR to MAD  and LH from FRA back to DUB with a bit of plane watching in between!!!
Sunday 3rd of May was the day for the trek with a 0615 departure from DUB,no bags so a simple case of use of the mobile boarding pass( for all flights) and  up up and away!!!
MAD  was a pleasant experience, plenty of the usual suspects, and of course South America was well represented. Boarding the 787 was efficient, the model in question CC-BBA was the first 787 in the Americas.I certainly liked the new Boeing interior, and enjoyed the flight to FRA.Certainly the large windows on the 787 are a great asset  to this aircraft.

Clever planning and a lovely variety as a result!  Well done.

Love the engine shot.

Any idea about the 767 hiding behind the Ethiopian one?  Looks like a private-flyer.
