Live Gunnery
« on: July 30, 2009, 06:47:28 PM »
While out dog walking this evening at the Downhill I could hear bursts of heavy machine gun fire and the distinct drone of a Puma helicopter coming from the range at Magilligan.  I was going to take a drive out following the walk but just as we were heading back to the car I spotted the Puma following the coastline around past our position before turning to route down the Bann Valley, probably back to Aldergrove.  Although the Puma passed close overhead I was unable to see which cab was involved.
Accidents usually follow the simultaneous combination of running out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas
