Garden Centre surprise in Carluke
« on: July 27, 2009, 01:28:21 PM »
My sister often told me there is a Folland Gnat in a Garden centre near her, however I opted to watch the Formula One (great race) and then squeeze in a quick visit to see the Gnat on the way to catch the bus from Glasgow to Stranraer.

Well my sister failed to mention there's also an old Air Atlantique Convair 440 there aswell!!!!!

The owner of the garden centre has rebuilt it in his garden and did have plans to turn it into a B&B.

What a great way to finish my trip.  ;D
