 just had a report of an E-3 at Aldergrove.

I believe it did a few passes before landing-don`t like the sound of all these AN 124`s coming in-wonderful aircraft and great to see them,but it sounds like the removal men are well and truely getting stuck in at RAF Aldergrove. :(

I would hope the station has a big send off and hopefully some sort of display but it`s more likely it will close with out much happening  :( :o :(

The only 'big' thing is the Lowering of the ensign(mid Sept). But i would assume this is not a public event as it is on the base. I am one of the lucky ones who will be attending and it will be a very sad day for Aviation in Northern ireland. I hear roumors of a puma flypast, but im not sure at the minute
