STS-128
« on: August 25, 2009, 12:10:38 PM »
This mornings launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery has been delayed until August 26, 1:10:22 AM EDT due to poor weather.  Pre launch shuttle comms were noted on Sunday morning when two Rescue Support C-130s departed Ramstein enroute their respective TAL sites.  UHF SATCOM downlink was audible on 261.700 with Herky 604 and Herky 605, attempted comms with Wolf Den were also made with no response.
Accidents usually follow the simultaneous combination of running out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas
