Texas ANG
« on: September 17, 2009, 03:44:33 PM »
The Texas ANG F-16's which deployed to LKCV a couple of weeks ago returned stateside this morning exiting Scottish airspace at MIMKU.  The chicks used the callsign 'Huron 11 Flt' this time, with their tankers 'Cafe 11' a KC-10 and 'Cafe 12' a KC-135.  A/A comms were noted on 140.400 and the boomer circuit was 268.300
Accidents usually follow the simultaneous combination of running out of airspeed, altitude, and ideas

Sadly not, as they have no clearance through Irish Airspace the cell routes up the east coast of England towards the LUK TACAN then across Scotland to the Oceanic Entry point which just keeps them far enough north not to be visible  :(
