Very interesting show on Quest (Sky 144, freeview 37) Thursday at 7pm. Airshow 100. It follows the Air Atlantique DC6 on a cargo run from Coventry to Belfast as well as coverage of the Coventry airshow.

Has a pretty good rundown on each aircraft including Sally B and F86 Sabre (interview with the pilot) as well as documenting aviation from WWII era to the evolution of jet aircraft into service.

This episode was shown last night too, didn't get a chance to post. But this is episode 2. Not sure when episode 3 airs though. Very good watch.
