Passenger's misstep causes airport logjam
« on: January 06, 2007, 08:05:23 PM »
VANCOUVER -- A passenger bound for South Korea and carrying a large amount of peanut butter and cooking oil exposed a glaring security flaw yesterday when he cleared security, then returned to the public area before proceeding to his gate by walking past screening personnel.

The incident prompted the airport to shut down the international terminal for more than three hours and forced officials to rescreen about 3,000 passengers.
