Disruption at BFS last night
« on: March 31, 2010, 08:42:54 PM »
Was major disruption at BFS last night,in fact it was closed due to snow for an hour 1915-2015.

Later at around 2200 the weather got really bad;runway 07 was in use with wind at 360 19knts gusting to 27knts ,with patches of slush, which could not have been pleasent!

I heard a couple of aircraft call go-arounds (on the radio),due to the wind and poor visibility.

Runways 35 and 17 were closed
