Air passengers face chaos over new ticket tax

AIR travellers face chaos next month as carriers try to charge extra money for tickets paid for months ago before an increase in air tax.

Passengers on some airlines could lose their flights because of the rise in the levy, which comes into force in February, despite the customers booking and paying for their tickets in advance.

OH! need to remind mum and dad as they booked tickets last year to go to Spain this year.

I think British Airways is going to cover the cost for it's passengers but the budget airlines say that their passengers will have to pay it before they can fly :(
