Why the Red Arrows had to cut short Portrush Display.
« on: September 09, 2010, 10:33:38 PM »
Attached a photo I took during the Red Arrows shortened display at Portrush.
There has a been a great deal of unfair criticism of the team by the general public;as you can see the low cloud base made the display too dangerous to fly.

The aircraft to the team leader`s right are having to bunch up very tight just to see each other, and the top aircraft is disappearing into the gloom.

The Red`s did very well to perform the short display in dreadful conditions.
