European Aeronautic Defence and Space (EADS) swung into a loss in the first three months of the year, hit by its Airbus unit and the weak dollar.
It reported a net loss of 10m euros ($13.6m; £6.8m) compared with a net profit of 522m euros for the first quarter of 2006.
EADS blamed the cost of delays to the A380 super-jumbo as well as the restructuring programme at Airbus.
