Yep all outside the base. It's a great place although not sure if it is as busy now as it used to be.

Awesome stuff mate couple of snaps taken at the same time, as you say a great place you have me hankering over another visit for JW11/02
Was talking to one of the locals at Fairford should be good in the autumn this year once all the jets are back.

Is there a few Lossie squadrons away at the moment? I think the Libya ops involves mostly Marham a/c but not sure.

Hi Jonny the base is at full strength now as  617 have just returned from the sand pit last Tursday, but August is a slow month with summer hols etc.
 There is chat on FC of an ex in September but it looks like a non starter

I would love to get back to the highlands to watch some low level flying, although from my experience it's easier to hear them than see them!
