Catch the pigeon....
« on: November 10, 2011, 08:05:01 PM »
A while ago at work I noticed a peregrine falcon sitting on a nearby electricity pylon and decided to see if I could get some pics of it, so I grabbed the camera and was about to take a pic of it when it took off and caught a pigeon that had flown too close to the pylon...

Then Just as I was about to put the camera down another falcon that must have had its eye on the same pigeon appeared and tried to take the pigeon off the first falcon...

Those are great photos! I bet that pigeon wished it had stayed in bed.

Thanks for the comments guys.
It was just pure luck that I got the shots , just shows that it pays to keep the camera close at all times......

It must have been a good day for hunting as a hour or so later a buzzard was circling over me....
