DUB 06/11/11 - Arkefly 767 arriving from Port-au-Prince

Given the good weather this weekend, I couldn't resist another nip down to Dublin, this time for a full day of photography.
 
So here I am awaiting the taxi into Belfast to then get the 5am bus down. 
 
Just noticed that there's an Arkefly 767-300 arriving into Dublin between 10 and 11am, just a quick heads up incase there's any guys around Dublin wanting to catch something different.

Well, what can I say about Dublin on Sunday... The weather was immense, crystal clear all day and not a single cloud. I was in the same spot from 10 minutes before sunrise until 10 minutes after sunrise which is quite hardcore but thought I might aswell make the most of the daytrip down    I did end up sleeping in my foldable chair around midday for about half an hour, only to be rudely awoken by a Ryanair departing which left me a tad disoreniated as to where I was. 
 
I havn't had time to do much editing, just a select few from the half hour before sunset which yet again offered brilliant light. I'll post the rest when I get a chance later in the week.

Great images Dave was toying with going down on Sunday but stayed up here to get all the MTV traffic, looking at your shots I think I should have ventured down, did you get the Isreali 757?

Thanks guys, I was tempted to go to either BHD or BFS on the Sunday, but followoing the rubbish appearance on Friday and Saturday, I opted heading down to Dublin to satisify my thrist for aircraft. 
 
I did indeed catch the Israel 757, it was a Sun D'Or 757 which now belongs to EL AL apparently after the airline ceased operations in April this year. Unfortunately I missed a Qatar A340-600 arriving in before sunrise, due in for a repaint I think.
