Please help

Hi, can someone please help me. I’ am a second year student studying a BTEC National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical) and I need an idea for a project that I have to do this year. Within the project I have to either investigate, modified or design something that has sometime to do with aviation.
Can someone please help me and give me any ideas, what I can do my project on?

Well I always wondered why no one has used the biplane design, other than in sports aircraft. Maybe an investigation into how this dseign could fit into todays civil (or military) aviation. I mean a biplane would mean smaller wingspan which would be suited to flying into small city airports or onto aircraft carriers.
