Here`s a shot of XX311 returning to Aldergrove after the display with the back seater.

According to the Red Arrows PR team at Portrush, the new team leader was flying with Red one today, so that is who the passenger was.

I must have leftat the right time then.  Headed just as reds were due and was back in Belfastfor 5.50.

As for the show great day just a pity the sun couldn't have stayed longer.  Highlights were the two Lanc,  MissPick Up and the   Mustang.
Was my first time and will certainly be back.  Well done to all involved.

Great show, really enjoyed the Bronco which was displayed with much Belgian flair.  The Canberra show was a magnitude better than the sedate flypasts at Newcastle; such noise!

Shame it took two hours to leave the car park afterwards :(  Bit of a bummer as we had paid for the reserved parking at Lansdowne, and we were then stuck on the headland whilst all the 'non-reserved' cars escaped first. Traffic management seemed to be ad hoc, where it existed.  Hopefully something they can work on for next year.

Biggest problem for me was negotiating the people who abandoned their cars on way out.

Agree with canberra comments,  much better than Newcastle.  Be nice to have a couple more  noisy jets.
