Yes, it was glorious!  Sunset lighting-up the yellow tail.  I decided to stand and watch instead of running in for the camera.

Star Air 767-200(sf) heading towards Newcastle.

Any idea where it is off to/came from? I am assuming its just left Belfast with its current altitude.

Yea, it looked to be on course to Shannon for a few minutes.

Apparently FR24 went crazy tonight and had half of Spanish air traffic showing as declaring emergancy.

It was a Gulfstream - one sec and I'll check which one.

GIV N342AP belonging to operated by http://www.airproducts.com/, descending as it headed east.

Technically I suppose it belongs to their bank :)

Usually by operator request, so that their rivals can't deduce their strategy by watching where their 'planes go.

For example there was an Altria biz-jet that flew all the way from New York to Tel Aviv last year and the next day Altria announced they were purchasing an Israeli e-cigarette company.  That sort of advance notice can be very useful to traders, and they do track flights where possible
