Having been 3 years since my last visit, and with the girlfriend flying through MAN on a connecting flight, I took the opportunity to fly across and spend a few days at Manchester Airport. The weather wasn't ideal for the first 2 days however on the final day, the Saturday morning, we were lucky to get a crisp clear morning and a rare visitor from a UAE A330 tanker.

Thanks Angry, yes, the curve of the 787 wing is spectacular, especially during departure. Thomson have one based there each day, unfortunately I only saw the same one, G-TUID, every day. At least I have pictures of it from 10 different angles.

Manchester is a great airport for photography, so many great spots to take images from.
