I think the weather makes everyone unhappy but you can't really change the date because you think the weather will be better. At this years riverfest in coleraine the weather was really bad and there was also thunder & lightning, but the previous year it was really warm and would have fried and egg on the stones. so you can never predict the weather for any event. well done T.T.F for your hard work maybe next year we wont get many call offs.

Forgot to say - if you were wondering why alot of the displays were further out this year its because after the buoys were nicely placed on Thursday we woke on Friday to find the strong current had drawn them about 200ft farther out. The wind and waves were too vicious (until Sunday) to have them repositioned and the pilots are duty bound to use the buoys for display axis.

ahhhh, thanks for clearing that up TTF, i was wondering why everything seemed to be very far out this year, esp the yoyo

TTF whats chances of P'rush 2010 ? every year i hear the same thing from people walking about, oh this is def the last one due to cost etc etc.
