Don't see anything listed on BFS or LPL site - is it a charter flight?

A few more unusual aircraft due in today (4th june).

A Dassault Falcon 900B is due in at around 5pm and before hand an Iberworld A320 is due in at 2.50pm. I've also noticed the odd BMI flight on the timetables at BFS to destinations abroad. Odd that they seem to be flying out of both BFS and BHD.

Simon, it would probably be worthwhile mentioning that rumor regarding Jet2 and a possible move to BHD operations.

Jet 2 are very unlikely to move to BHD,for a start they can`t operate the B757 from there ::).don`t know where that rumour came from.

thats very true - jet2 opp B757-200 which needs 9,550 ft of runway to take off and George Best's Belfast city airport [bhd] r/w 04/22 only has 6,001 ft of runway!
It's such a shame jet2 only based 2 B737-300 at Belfast this summer and no B757-200 ! i wonder will they bring the B757 back for winter ??

They don't operate the B757 atm anyway from BFS, so thats hardly an issue. And dont forget once BHD gets that handy little runway extension, ops won't be too hard then for B757  ;). The rumour was for jet2 to move all passenger services to BHD, whilst still operating the mail flights from BFS on a 'W' pattern.

Still seems unlikely to use both airports-I had forgotton about the mail flights-was good taking the seats out of the B737 to change it to a freighter-only takes 20 mins.

I think it more likely BMI Baby would move to BHD and then be in direct comp with Ryanair-but with the credit crisis it`s unlikely any airlines would want to up sticks.

The natives would go mental if 757`s started operating out of BHD-that would be funny ;D-not sure how long the runway extension is planned to be but I would be surprised if it`s as much as 3000ft-I can find out easy enough as I know one of the top brass in BHD management.

I think the figure was 600m which is just under 2000ft but I maybe wrong.

Saw  the EuroCypria coming in but was too dark for a pic.It was the white one-I have only seen the lime on twice.I hate B737-800`s loading them was a nightmare-big long hold with only room to kneel down with your neck on the ceiling.
Turn around time 1 hr with 190 odd pax and only a team of 4 you had your work cut out.

Hey guys just thought i would let yous know that we had 4 TCX ( Thomas Cook) flights today most of them Bodrum and dalaman but it seems the 757-200 is also in for the summer months for the dalaman and Corfu on Monday evenings instead of a a320 as there is a demand for these flights, so if it all goes well by the end of the summer the 757 may be staying with us for next summer

cheers matty

Bit too dark for pics unfortunatly but I did see it I think it came in about 2315 or so,I was making some toast and saw it through the window. ;D

It looked like a B737-800 to me but I may be wrong as I only saw it briefly.
