Apaches at Aldergrove?

Saw this on wikipedia and wondered if Apaches had ever visited Aldergrove.

I doubt it.I'm sure someone would have spotted them - i've never seen any reference to them being there.
Would be nice though 8)

I asked my cousin who was based here during the troubles, he is in the BLACK WATCH and this is what he told me.They were not used in northern ireland, sadly they were used only in the south. As far as he remembers.

Apache`s have never been deployed in Northern Ireland or the South for that matter. ;D

There was talk of bringing one over a couple of years ago for the AAC Family Day but none were available.

They have proved to be a bit of a tempramental beast-they don`t like European weather-reminds me of the Special Ops Chinooks fiasco!
