Have seen this sort of things many times in Belfast when the Starlings used to gather to nest under the various bridges over the Lagan.

Big problems in some cities from this especially in Rome-loads of birds-means lots of bird poo! :o

I actually saw a programme a few days ago about these flocks of starlings.It said that each bird formates on the nearest seven birds to it - however they worked that out ??? ;)
