Ryanair to begin BHD-BRS flights
« on: February 12, 2009, 08:12:23 PM »
Starting on 30th March (judging by trial and error on the Ryanair website), Ryanair will begin daily flights between Belfast and Bristol and from what I can tell, this is in addition to the 4 current destinations thus they will not be replacing any destinations. Good stuff!

By the way, Ryanair are having a cheap flight sale on at the moment thus you may be lucky and get return flights to Prestwick (or Liverpool, East Midlands or Stansted) for £1 each.

I am tempted to take a days spotting at East Midlands however finding a day suitable for both myself and a friend is proving difficult.

Wouldn't mind a day trip to Prestwick at those prices

I was tempted to go to Prestwick myself however the road along side the airport runway produces backlit photos all day thus theres no where thats too good for spotting.

Just booked myself 6 Ryanair flights during March. Two return trips to East Midlands for the day, and 4 short 3 hour return trips to Prestwick on every Tuesday morning in March. Will book a day trip to Stansted tomorrow. With each flight costing 1p and with no credit card charge (the girlfriend has a visa electron which has no surcharge), all 14 flights cost 14p in total :) A bargin but still expensive when you consider the flights are meant to be 'free'  ;D

The Prestwick trips will be hit and miss as we'll only have 2 or 3 hours of spotting thus might not see a single plane, but then we might see a few 747's or Antonov's. Happy Days!
