Have you ever tried Airplane-Pictures.net? I think it's a fantastic site.
I hadn't heard of it actually. I must check it out actually, although currently Jetphotos.net is my main upload point and I think it'll remain at the top of my list as I think the sites screening is spot on. Not mega strict, and not relaxed.
I must admit i've all but given up on the photo databases - even Air Britain rejected my Navy Merlin pic that A.net accepted!!
I just thought i'd try A.net again after getting Photoshop - i had been using Picasa previously. It can be very demoralising when pics get dissed for what are very trivial reasons, but i do accept that you can't just upload any old tat.
Get yourselves a free fotopic site and you can screen your own pics

99% of my rejected shots are soft as I'm still experimenting with sharpening techniques on photoshop and I can't settle on a technique. I just uploaded a few shots to a.net, all of which were rejected due to softness. A.nets sharpening standards are just too strict for my liking. They even rejected one shot for having some small specs of snow in it. Very frustrating and it's just put me right off A.net altogether.
Between my photos on A.net and Jetphotos.net, my photos on the latter have been getting way more views, which for most photographers is the main deciding point on a upload site (I hate to say it but myself incuded!).
I have learnt a lot from rejections on Jetphotos.net thus will remain loyal to them
