Caught the tail end of a news report on the radio this morning which I believe was about 230sqn deploying to Afghanistan. Anyone hear of this?

Most of 230 Sqd have been operating in Iraq for some time now-only a small number of aircraft were retained here for training sorties etc.

I believe 230 Sqd have already been on active service in Afganistan.

Its true. They've been in Kenya training with the Grenadier Guards before their deployment, but only using 3 aircraft.

Thanks for that. Maybe that's the story that was being reported.
