Can't help you there as I'm only beginning to tell the difference between a 747 and an A340 at altitude :)

Just a few shots from today. Was very nice to see the TOM/FCA 757W heading to GLA from Las Palmas  :). Second one is a UPS B763 and i think the third is an AA 777, not sure though.

Correct for all three (in my opinion)  :)

It was very busy in the skies this morning. Captured these two (747 & 777?) around 8:50. At any one time I could see up to 4 in the sky at once.

Nice shot! Now that my exams are finished as of this morning, I've more time for some contrailing watching. I caught two United Airlines 777's yesterday evening about a mile apart, heading in the same direction.

I didn't hear any noise  ;D  Looks like an A340-300 or 747, more likely a 747.

Nice one Don, I'm surprised he managed to link up registrations with the aircraft themselves. The DC-9 was a good catch. And all those by hand holding a small compact camera up to a telescope! Impressive!

Now that I remember, I came across a photographer on jetphotos.net, S. Kustov, whom uses a telescope to photograph aircraft in detail at cruisning altitude. Have a peek at his shots... all very impressive!

Hi there,
I just signed up to the forums here, lots of great pics, etc.
This is my first post, so I'd like to say a big Hello to everyone.
I think I'll start by posting some shots, to keep in the spirit of things.
All taken this morning over Dublin.
Cheers.
