It's a shame we used to see quite alot around coleraine but i think this one was heading to BALLYKELLY, rare sightings now.

Are you hand holding the camera? Have you used the tripod yet?

it is hard to use the trripod when you aren't ready for the plane to arrive. so i hand hold, but if i had a scanner i could set the tripod up so i could get better stable pictures. even though it has steady shot if you zoom in it gets very shakey.

Seem's to be a lot of helicopter activity today. 1 puma 1 gazelle going back and forth from ballykelly.

Just ordered a new battery for camcorder it last upto 6.5hrs and also an air scanner.
Battery was only £20 np-fh70
And scanner was £10.95 Icon-3 Multiband Radio CB FM TV-1 AIR PB Marine WB bands.
so i'm sorted for airshow.

Was in RAF aldergrove over the weekend, seen a puma and a few gazelles, right over our head. Woke in the middle of the night to a puma running its engines then taking off...didnt see much though..the majority of helicopter activity is during the night now..
