Anything unusual around Aldergrove today?
« on: April 28, 2009, 12:38:54 PM »
Has anyone seen/heard anything interesting around RAF Aldergrove today? - I 've been invited to a bit-of-a-do there tonight and I was wondering if anything nice is coming in specially.
Does anybody know how they are with personal cameras on the base?

A friend of many has been to the base a few times on guided tours and has always brought his camera and taken hundreds of photos, so it should be ok.

It was the RAF presentation team at the officers' mess. Very interesting but miles from the hangars. All I saw was the tail rotor of a Puma poking over a hedge. And I was woken by probably the same helo at 1.30am doing low passes along the River Bann!
