Radom Air Show Poland

Second visit to Poland an Radom, great weekend and great company just need a McDs detox  ;D 


Friday and Sunday where outside in the naughty field, Saturday was inside the cost a mere £5, flying started at 9 am and finished about 19.30

Superb!

Love the old Soviet Bloc types, and  their descendants  obviously.  Brilliant photos!

Especially like the head-on 16 snap.

How does Radom compare to Fairford?

They don't appear to operate under the same restrictions as Fairdford, as evidenced by the use of flares, but do they get a similar level of participants or is it primarily Eastern Bloc aircraft.

No where near as large as RIAT Dec , but very interesting, it's on a similar scale to Waddington or Yeovilton, fully operational base so no problem with flares, the issue with flares at RIAT is that they are armed aircraft and as such need a bit more TLC
