Hey David, welcome to the forum, I'll try and answer a few of these;

EASYJET - Both Airbus A319's and Boeing 737-700's
JET2 - Boeing 737-300's
BMI BABY - Boeing 737-300 and 737-500's.
AER LINGUS - A320-200's
THOMAS COOK - A330-200's and A320's although the odd 757 is due in this summer I believe
THOMSON - Not 100% sure although I believe they may operate an Ex Firct Choice A320 from the airport

euro cypria - Boeing 737-800's
austrian - Perhaps Lauda Air operate their 737's on behalf of Austrian
fly bmi - A320-200's
thomas cook [long haul] - A330-200's
spanair
air europa - Boeing 737-800's
bh air -  A320-200's
hemus air - could be a Boeing 737-500
bulgaria air
fly globespan - Boeing 767-300's
and onur air - A321's and later this summer A300's.

Hope this helps you. I'm sure a few others will be able to provide some answers to the missing ones and also correct mine.

Hi David and also welcome to the forum :)

Manx2 also use BFS - Let-410
and very very very rarely you will also see volga-dnepr with the AN-124.

Spanair MD-83-not this year, they went bust last year!

Manx2 also use the Dornier 228.

Thompson use B767-300 on long haul usually but sometimes A330.

Thomas Cook use A330`s/B767-300 for long haul.

BMI use A320 and A321 for summer routes.

Don`t forget Jet2 use a B757-200 for Tenerife.

Haven`t seen Air Europa this year so they may have went down the tubes as well. They used B737-800`s (A pig to load!!!)

Austrian use Fokker 100`s and A320 with Lauda Air supplying aircraft at times.

Angry Turnip - Spanair havent gone bust where did you get that information from ?? Thomson dont use B767-300 or A330 from BFS only A320-200 - thomas cook only use B757-200 [not based] , A330 [not based] and A320-200 [1 based] - Jet2 only have only based 2x B737-300 for the summer no B757-200 and no Tenerife untill Winter Season and Air Europa opperate flight on behalf of Thomson as you can only book Air Europa flight via Thomson which are due to fly to Reus & Ibiza but Thomson lost contract for Air Europa so the Ibiza flight or now being opperated by Jet2 B737-300 on Saturdays and the Reus is now opperating from Belfast City Airport on Saturdays on Flybe Departing @ 14:15 and returning @ 20:05 flight numbers BE9103 / BE9104 opperated by Dash 8-400

Thomson will use the B763 for ad-hoc charters to Barbados. Usually operates a few times a year. And Flybe use the E195 on the REU, not the dash  :o.

David 981 :Thomson do use the B767-300 for long haul charters to Bridgetown and have used A330`s in the past also.

I stand corrected regarding Spanair-I recall that being on the news that they had folded but it appears not.
They mainly operated MD-83 which are the most hateful aircraft to load!
All done by hand and the 3 holds are very small and cramped-try googling pictures of baggage holds and you will see what I mean.

Thomas Cook mainly use the A320, and also use A330 or B767 for long haul. They took on the My Travel fleet when they bought them, however I have only seen the B767 in BFS once this year.(Jan)

Pity Air Europa aren`t operating their own aircraft into BFS anymore-was something different although the colour scheme wasn`t too exciting.

Look out for the Lourdes charters-you get all kinds of odd stuff/airlines operating them, usually B737 of various types but occasionally B757`s or A321`s

I wonder what their future's like now that Arcandor are in bankruptcy? They own 53% of Thomas Cook.

Maybe you just want to pick our brains :D

Look into the light and tell me what you know! LOL
