Whilst this will be absoutely no use to you whatsoever (sorry), I remember when the Concorde visited.
I was pretty young at the time, maybe 7 or 8. My dad and taken me and my sister to Belfast City airport for some garden shed spotting (aka Shorts 360). We spent a lot of the summer evenings at the airport, enjoying waving to the pilots as the aircraft used runway 04 for take offs. My sister heard a noise and I looked up to see the black Delta wing of Concorde flying overhead, following the usual aircraft approach towards runway 25 at BFS.
My dad decided to drive us up quickly to BFS to see it, so off we went, speeding along the roads, hoping to catch it before it departed. Upon arriving at BFS, we headed straight to the viewing gallery where a good few people had gathered to see the Concorde.
By the time the beauty departed, it was getting a little dark and the afterburners stood out in the evening lighting. Everybody clapped in the viewing gallery after seeing the impressive departure from runway 25.
I often try recalling which Concorde visited and if memory serves me right, it was either G-BOAC, G-BOAF or G-BOAG, although BOAG stands out more for me

Would you happen to remember Chalkman?
