EGAC - 19/06/09
« on: June 19, 2009, 09:00:52 PM »
Went to the City airport this morning and found out that the top part of the Ikea car park doesn't open during the week :( So parked at the bottom and went to the top - got a few from there and then moved down to the fence.

Pilot did a good job bringing this down. It seemed to be hit by strong crosswinds and skipped from wheel to wheel

Not a great photo but thought it was something different.

Then had an unexpected visitor. Sorry for the poor quality but it was very dull and this is cropped from the original.

Crikey that was indeed an unexpected visitor so well caught  ;D

The BMI shot is a great one. The effects of cross wind is certainly more noticeable down at the fence than from the third level of Ikea!

I remember seeing that video on the news, BBC or ITV. Thankfully the landing at the City wasn't as violent as this. The only thing that hit the ground was the undercarriage - one at a time.
