Transformers
« on: July 04, 2009, 07:02:55 PM »
Took the kids to see this last night. It's full of optical illusions - apparently there are giant robots in some of the sense that have Megan Fox in them, but I couldn't see them  :LOL

It a long film but I thoroughly enjoyed it and the special effects have to be seen to be believed. It's a total 'leave your brain at home' movie :) Did I mention Megan Fox is gorgeous in it :) I know this is sad but it was almost worth the entrance fee just to see some of the aerial footage of B-1Bs, C-17, F-16s on the big screen.

So if you've got kids drag them to see it :)

The only reason I watched the first Transofrmers movie was because I liked the music which was used in the famous (I think) Best of Zurich Airport 2007 video.

I turned out actually enjoying the film so I do intend to go see the second movie in the cinema this week hopefully.

Everyone always says that about Megan Fox, but surely shes abit over rated?

Over rated in the acting department maybe but definitely not in the looks department :)

I take back everything I said about Magen Fox, she most definately isn't overrated  8)

Saw the film tonight, personally I loved it. More good music, some funny jokes and nice effects, although I was sitting too close to the screen to take it all in. Wheelie(?) the small robot was funny. I have heard that the film seemed long, but to be honest, the time flew past for me as I was enjoying it.

I look forward to seeing the third film in the series!  ;D

It was horrible.  Character development was lacking, the new tranformers with gold teeth were horrible and I had no idea why they got so much screen time.  Michael Bay should have spent more time developing characters and less on special effects.  The special effects were numbing after a while.

:Welcome: Hi Leslie and welcome to the forum. I think you just have to accept that this type of film is never going to win any awards for acting or storyline :)
