Airbus A380 woes push EADS to loss

Airbus parent EADS posted a third-quarter operating loss on Wednesday after it took 1 billion euros (670 million pounds) of charges as it grapples with costly production problems at its A380 superjumbo programme.



The loss before interest and taxes and before goodwill impairment and exceptional items was 239 million euros, compared with a year-earlier profit of 559 million.

Well FedEx cancelled their order for 10 A380Fs, and at the same time announced an order for 15 777Fs with options for 15 more.  I believe that makes them the launch customer for the 777F, but I could be wrong.  The only remaining orders for the A380F are 10 from UPS and 5 from ILFC, a leasing company.
